Breaking the Loop
An 8-Week Journey Through Obsessive Thinking
Your mind was never trying to torture you.
It was trying to protect you.
If you've ever replayed conversations long after they ended, imagined worst-case scenarios that never happened, Googled the same question over and over looking for certainty, or wished you could simply "turn your brain off," you're not alone.
Breaking the Loop is an eight-week live Haunted Mindfulness series that blends evidence-informed mindfulness, modern psychology, and cinematic folklore to help you build a healthier relationship with your thoughts.
Over eight weeks we'll explore:
- Why the brain gets stuck in repetitive thinking
- Why fighting thoughts often makes them stronger
- How to separate yourself from the stories your mind tells
- Living with uncertainty instead of chasing impossible certainty
- Strengthening attention like a muscle
- Untangling catastrophic thinking
- Choosing values over fear
- Building a kinder relationship with your own mind
Each class includes:
- 10-15 minute mindfulness teaching
- 8-12 minute cinematic story meditation
- Live reflection and Q&A
No previous meditation experience is necessary.
Just bring yourself exactly as you are.
Because peace doesn't begin when your thoughts disappear.
It begins when you discover you don't have to believe every one of them.
